Grade 8 alloy steel, quenched and tempered to maximize tensile strength and impact resistance, forms the backbone of a shackle range that scales from 7 metric tons all the way to 1,550 metric tons WLL—spanning body diameters of 22 mm to 285 mm (7/8" to 11-1/4"). A bolt, nut, and cotter pin safety configuration locks the pin firmly in place, preventing accidental disengagement during permanent rigging setups, long-duration suspensions, or high-vibration environments.

Finish Options Matched to Your Environment

Shackles rated up to 55 metric tons receive a hot-dip galvanized finish for marine, coastal, and outdoor service. For larger sizes (75t and above), a painted finish with a silver bow and signature green pin provides robust protection and instant visual identification. Both finish options are rated for service across a -20°C to +200°C temperature range.

Documentation, Compliance & Digital Tracking

The P-6033 ships standard with CE marking and full ASME B30.26 compliance, supported by a 5:1 design safety factor. Optional 2.1, 2.2, and 3.1 material test certificates are available on request. Select sizes are available with integrated RFID tags for digital tracking, inspection scheduling, and lifecycle documentation.
