Green Pin® G-7723 Jaw & Eye Swivel – Rotational Freedom with Removable Jaw Security
In rigging configurations where both rotational movement and quick jaw attachment matter, the Green Pin® G-7723 Jaw & Eye Swivel delivers exactly the right combination. One end features a secure, cotter-pin-locked jaw fitting for fast, reliable connection to shackles, links, and structural anchor points. The other presents an enclosed eye for clean in-line load transfer. Together, they create a swivel assembly purpose-built for dynamic field rigging where flexibility and security must coexist.
Two Connection Types. One Precision Component.
The G-7723's asymmetric design is its core advantage. The jaw end—secured with a safety cotter pin—allows the swivel to be quickly connected and disconnected from anchor points, structural members, or mating hardware without requiring full disassembly of the rigging system. The enclosed eye end provides a fixed, closed-loop termination that transfers in-line load directly and cleanly into the swivel body. Between them, the swivel bearing absorbs rotational forces, preventing line twist from propagating through the rigging assembly and protecting connected components from torsional fatigue.
Forged for Strength. Heat-Treated for Performance.
Every G-7723 is forged from high-tensile steel, quenched and tempered to produce a refined, consistent grain structure throughout the component. The range covers 0.39 to 20.5 metric tons WLL, with diameters from 6 mm to 38 mm and jaw pin diameters spanning 6 mm to 50 mm. Every size is rated to a 5:1 safety factor—minimum breaking load equals five times the working load limit.
Hot-Dip Galvanized for Long-Term Field Reliability
The G-7723's hot-dip galvanized finish provides metallurgically bonded zinc protection that resists corrosion in marine, coastal, offshore, and outdoor industrial environments. Unlike spray coatings or electroplating, hot-dip galvanizing penetrates recesses and internal surfaces—including jaw recesses and eye bores where moisture tends to accumulate.
Compliant and Certifiable for Demanding Projects
The G-7723 conforms to US Federal Specification RR-C-271, Type VII, Class 3. For projects requiring documented material traceability, 2.1 and 2.2 material test certificates are available upon request.
Key Applications:
- Dynamic rigging requiring in-line rotation under tension
- Crane and hoist rigging with adjustable jaw terminations
- Marine, offshore, and coastal lifting assemblies
- Guy wire and tensioning systems requiring swivel relief
- Field rigging where quick jaw connect/disconnect is essential
