Green Pin® G-6313 Jaw-to-Jaw Turnbuckle – Precision Tensioning. Locked-In Security.
In tensioning systems where load alignment, adjustability, and connection security are all non-negotiable, the Green Pin® G-6313 Jaw-to-Jaw Turnbuckle stands as the professional's choice. Engineered for demanding rigging environments across marine, construction, utility, and heavy industrial sectors, the G-6313 combines drop-forged high-tensile steel construction with a secure jaw-to-jaw configuration to deliver reliable, repeatable tensioning performance.
The Jaw-to-Jaw Advantage
The G-6313's jaw-to-jaw end fitting design — each jaw secured with a safety cotter pin — provides fully enclosed, closed-loop connections at both ends of the turnbuckle body. This eliminates the risk of accidental disengagement under load, vibration, or dynamic movement, making the G-6313 the correct hardware choice for structural tensioning, permanent guy wire installations, and any application where an open-hook termination would introduce unacceptable risk. The cotter-pin-secured jaws also allow the G-6313 to be connected and disconnected without full disassembly of the surrounding rigging system.
Drop-Forged. High-Tensile. Built for the Long Term.
Every G-6313 is drop-forged from SAE 1035 or SAE 1045 high-tensile steel — chosen for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, machinability, and resistance to fatigue under cyclic tensioning loads. Available in thread sizes from 3/4" to 2-3/4" with take-up lengths from 6" to 24" and working load limits ranging from 2.36 to 34 metric tons. Every size is rated to a 5:1 safety factor.
Hot-Dip Galvanized for Corrosion-Resistant Service
The G-6313's hot-dip galvanized finish delivers a metallurgically bonded zinc coating that protects the steel substrate — including threaded sections and jaw recesses — against corrosion throughout the component's service life. Unlike electroplated or spray-applied coatings, hot-dip galvanizing provides consistent coverage across complex geometries.
Standards Compliance & Full Certification Support
The G-6313 meets ASTM F1145-92 and the former US Federal Specification FF-T-791b. Every unit ships with CE marking as standard, with optional 2.1, 2.2, and 3.1 material test certificates available on request.
Key Applications:
- Structural bracing and building façade tensioning systems
- Marine rigging, standing rigging, and mooring line tensioning
- Utility and transmission line hardware
- Guy wire and antenna mast installations
- Infrastructure, bridge, and civil engineering tensioning assemblies
