When Screw Pins Aren't Enough

Where screw pins can back out under rotation or vibration, the G-4163's bolt, nut, and cotter pin configuration physically locks the pin in place—eliminating the risk of accidental disengagement under load. It's the hardware choice for configurations that need to stay put: long-duration suspensions, offshore structural connections, permanent mooring assemblies, and any application where pin rotation is a real operational risk.

The G-4163 is manufactured from Grade 6 high-tensile steel, quenched and tempered throughout for a uniform, high-performance metallurgical structure. This delivers exceptional tensile strength, impact resistance, and fatigue performance across the full working load range—from 0.5 metric tons to 85 metric tons, with bow diameters spanning 7 mm to 75 mm (1/4" to 3"). Every size is engineered to a 6:1 safety factor, meaning the minimum breaking load is six times the working load limit.

Hot-Dip Galvanized for Corrosion Defense

The hot-dip galvanized finish bonds a thick, metallurgically integrated zinc layer to the steel substrate, providing long-term corrosion resistance that outlasts paint, plating, and spray coatings in real-world service.
