Gunnebo M & MF Master Links – Swedish-Made. Individually Certified. Built for Grade 100.
When your chain sling assembly demands a master link that's fully traceable, individually proof tested, and engineered for long-term fatigue performance, Gunnebo's M and MF series deliver without compromise. Manufactured from quenched and tempered fine grain alloy steel sourced from European mills, these welded master links are built to the exacting standards that Grade 100 lifting systems require — and marked with full traceability codes so every link can be traced from Swedish factory floor to lift record.
Two Profiles. One Standard of Quality.
The M series features a classic round profile for traditional chain sling terminations, while the MF series incorporates an engineered flat — precision-dimensioned for secure seating with compatible couplers including the Gunnebo GrabiQ lineup and Crosby S-1325 Omega Links. For rigging systems that combine components from multiple manufacturers, the MF's engineered flat ensures correct orientation, full bearing engagement, and optimal load distribution every time. Additional variants include MT (master link assembly), MFH (engineered flat for DIN style crane hooks), and MFX (enlarged with engineered flat) for specialized applications.
Individually Proof Tested. Fatigue Rated. Fully Traceable.
Every Gunnebo M and MF master link is individually proof tested and certified — not batch sampled — with proof loads ranging from 11,016 lbs to 689,299 lbs depending on size. Each link is fatigue rated to a minimum of 20,000 cycles at 1.5× WLL and built to a 5:1 design factor, meeting or exceeding EN 1677-4, ASTM A952/A952M, AS 3775.2, and AS 3776:2015 across a WLL range from 4,408 lbs to 275,500 lbs.
Full traceability is forged into every link — markings include grade, chain size, "SWE," "Gunnebo," and BG/DGUV ID (H32) alongside a unique Product Identification Code (PIC) for complete supply chain documentation on certified lifting projects.
Key Applications:
- Grade 100 chain sling terminations and assemblies
- Multi-leg sling systems with coupler links and hooks
