Gunnebo M & MF Master Links – Individually Tested. Swedish Steel. Built to Outlast the Job.
Not all master links are created equal. While many products on the market rely on batch testing and generic steel sourcing, every Gunnebo M and MF Master Link is individually proof tested and certified, manufactured from quenched and tempered fine grain alloy steel sourced exclusively from European mills, and marked with a complete traceability code that follows the link from the Swedish factory to your lift documentation. That's a different standard — and it shows.
Choose Your Profile. Keep Your Standards.
The M series delivers a clean, round profile that integrates naturally into standard chain sling assemblies, crane hooks, and general lifting hardware. The MF series adds an engineered flat — precision-dimensioned for direct compatibility with Gunnebo GrabiQ components and Crosby S-1325 Omega Links — ensuring correct seating, positive alignment, and full load transfer in specialized rigging configurations. Additional variants extend the range further: MT for master link assemblies, MFH for DIN-style crane hook applications, and MFX for enlarged-profile engineered flat requirements.
Whatever the configuration, every link in the M and MF family is built to the same 5:1 design factor, fatigue rated to a minimum of 20,000 cycles at 1.5× WLL, and compatible with chain, wire rope, and synthetic rope assemblies — making it one of the most versatile certified master link families available.
Traceability That Goes the Distance
In certified lifting environments, a master link without full documentation is a liability. Every Gunnebo M and MF link carries permanent markings including grade, chain size, "SWE" (Sweden), "Gunnebo," BG/DGUV ID (H32), and a unique PIC code — giving quality managers, inspection teams, and project engineers the traceability chain they need from first use through to end-of-life retirement. WLL ranges from 4,408 lbs to 275,500 lbs, with proof loads up to 689,299 lbs.
Key Applications:
- Grade 100 chain sling terminations and multi-leg assemblies
- Wire rope and synthetic sling end connections
- GrabiQ and Crosby S-1325 compatible rigging systems
- Certified overhead lifting requiring EN 1677-4 or ASTM A952 documentation
