Crosby's patented QUIC-CHECK® deformation and angle indicators are machined directly into the L-320's body — not added on, not stickered, not painted. Deformation indicators reveal whether the hook has experienced overload stretching that warrants removal from service. Angle indicators confirm that the applied load falls within the hook's rated angular capacity, preventing the invisible side-loading failures that cause hooks to fail at well below their rated WLL. The L-320 earns its gold finish. Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel with a higher strength-to-weight ratio than carbon equivalents, every hook is fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1.5× WLL and proof tested to 2.5× WLL (1T–22T) or 2× WLL (30T–60T). Chemical analysis and tensile testing are conducted on every PIC batch — providing documented material verification that supports certified lifting programs, third-party audits, and quality management systems that demand more than a rated number on the side of the hook.

Ready to Work — Latch Included

Every L-320 ships with the correct latch kit already installed at no additional cost — the S-4320 for 1T–22T hooks and the SS-4055 for 30T–60T hooks. No separate order, no installation required, no missing hardware on the job site. Replacement latches are available separately when needed.
