The G-450 delivers an 80% efficiency rating on sizes 1/8" through 7/8" and a 90% efficiency rating on sizes 1" through 3-1/2" — based on catalog breaking strength of the connected wire rope. Every forged base is permanently marked with the Crosby name or "CG," the rope size, and a unique Product Identification Code (PIC) for full material traceability from manufacture to field use. Each clip is individually bagged or tagged with application instructions and safety warnings — ensuring correct installation every time, whether in a rigging shop or on a remote job site.
Sizes up to 1-1/2" feature rolled threads for superior thread durability and fatigue resistance under repeated torque loading. Forged steel bases are standard on sizes 1/8" through 2-1/2" and 3", with cast steel bases on 2-3/4" and 3-1/2" sizes. The entire clip assembly is galvanized for corrosion and rust resistance in outdoor, marine, and industrial environments.
