The Crosby G-2130A doesn't just meet the standard — it exceeds it. Engineered to meet or exceed all Grade 8 shackle requirements, the G-2130A goes beyond ASME B30.26 compliance by addressing impact properties and full material traceability that the standard doesn't require — critical performance factors for offshore, Arctic, and high-specification lifting operations.
Forged from quenched and tempered alloy steel, hot-dip galvanized, and featuring a thin-head bolt with nut and cotter pin, the G-2130A is DNV 2.7-1 type approved for offshore containers and impact tested to 42 Joules at -40°C — confirming reliable toughness in the most extreme cold-weather environments. It also meets US Federal Specification RR-C-271H, Type IVA, Grade B, Class 3. Additional certifications including ABS, DNV, and Lloyd's are available with proof testing upon request at time of order.
